Benton People Directories Map
Benton people directories are not held in one master phone book. The local set works more like a directory of directories. City staff listings cover municipal records contacts. Benton School District and Benton High School cover school staff. State directories add Arkansas employees and principal contacts. County property tools work as owner directories, while the recorder, voter-list rules, business entity search, licensing pages, and library collections add separate name paths.
| Directory | Who It Lists | Keeper | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| City of Benton City Clerk staff directory | City clerk contacts | City of Benton | Free public webpage |
| Benton School District staff directory | District staff and departments | Benton Schools | Search and department filter |
| Benton High School staff directory | High school staff and administrators | Benton Schools | Name and department search |
| State Employee Directory | Arkansas state staff | Arkansas.gov | First and last name search |
| ARCountyData and EDGE GIS | Property owners and taxpayers | Saline County Assessor and Collector | Free public property tools |
| Business and license directories | Entities, agents, professionals, chamber members | Arkansas SOS, state boards, Benton Area Chamber | Public search by term, category, or license field |
| Library historical directories | Past residents, phone listings, obituaries, local news names | Saline County Library and Gann Museum | Catalog, databases, and local-history access |
Current public-contact searches should start with the staff, school, state, business, or property directory that fits the person. Family-history and old-address searches usually move to the library catalog, Saline Courier obituary index, census links, Gann Museum, Arkansas State Archives, and FamilySearch county records.
Benton Government Directory Entries
The City of Benton City Clerk staff directory is a small but official people directory. It lists the City Clerk group, links to the city records search, and gives direct staff entries where published. Research found Jayce Eastin, Assistant to City Clerk, with phone extension 133, and Cindy Stracener, City Clerk, with the cityclerk@bentonar.gov email and phone extension 121. The same city page gives the City Clerk phone and the 410 River Street location for records questions.
| Name | Visible on individual city staff entries when published |
|---|---|
| Title | City Clerk or assistant role |
| Work phone | Main city number with extension on visible entries |
| Published for the City Clerk entry | |
| Location | City Clerk office at Benton City Hall |
| Related record path | City records search through Laserfiche |
The City Clerk page also points to the City of Benton Laserfiche records portal. That portal is a document directory rather than a staff directory, but city ordinances, resolutions, and municipal records can name people, boards, applicants, or officials. If a staffer is not listed, use the department main line, City Clerk contact, or records portal.
Benton School Directory Search
The richest local staff directory found was the Benton School District staff directory. It has a name search field, department filter, pagination, and staff cards. The district directory reaches beyond classroom teachers and includes technology, transportation, maintenance, public relations, accounting, and district administration roles. For Benton people directories, the school system lists a wider set of public staff roles than the narrower City Clerk staff page.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Options / Format Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search | Text | No | Filters by staff name. |
| Select Departments | Dropdown/filter | No | Department options load in the directory interface. |
| Page numbers | Pagination | No | Multiple pages were visible in research. |
| Send Message | Entry action | No | Message link appears for many staff entries. |
The district footer lists Benton School District at 207 W. Conway, Benton, with a main phone, fax, and info email. Visible sample entries included Michael Arnold, District Network Administrator in Technology; Angie Cates, Accounting Specialist I; and Chris Hinson, Assistant Superintendent HR & Finance. Those examples show why a school staff directory can answer a name-to-role question even when no address record is involved.
The manifest's successful capture of the Benton School District staff directory shows the search and department-filter surface used for this directory.
The screenshot supports the page's directory focus because it shows a live local staff listing, not a generic people-search result.
Benton State Education Directories
Benton High School has a separate staff directory at the Benton High School staff page. Research found name and department search controls, with visible entries such as Candice Allen, FACS Teacher and Student Council Sponsor, and Curt Barger, Principal. Entries can show title, phone, email, and sometimes department.
Saline County Career Technical Center, operated with ASU Three Rivers, adds another education contact path for Benton. Its staff page showed a search field and the Benton campus contact at 13600 I-30, though individual entries were not visible in static capture. Statewide education contacts also appear in the ADE Principal Contact List, which includes school principals, addresses, phones, and emails.
The Arkansas State Employee Directory fills the state-agency gap. It searches by first name and last name, which makes it a cleaner directory than a broad web search when the person may work for a state office rather than the city, county, or school district.
Benton Property Owner Directories
Property records are one of Benton's strongest official directory layers. The ARCountyData Saline County page lists a free public real-estate records search sponsored by the assessor and a tax-records search sponsored by the collector. It also listed Saline County assessor and collector data as current to 7/10/2026, with 84,325 parcels. That is the main numbers-based directory fact for Benton: the owner roll is large, current, and tied to county assessment work.
The Saline County EDGE GIS app adds a map directory. Its search setup includes parcel ID, owner name, address, subdivision, address points, streets, and section-township-range. Results can expose owner name, mailing and physical addresses, legal description, value, acreage, photo or sketch links, and deed-transfer fields.
Directory clue: the assessor says deeds are worked as filed to adjust ownership and parcel information, so recorder activity can change the owner directory over time.
Benton Records as Directories
Some official records act like people directories even though their purpose is not a phone-book listing. The Saline County Circuit Clerk and Recorder provides AVA and Laredo for land records. AVA is the free search option, Laredo is a subscription tool for regular title searchers, and all records are available for public search at the Circuit Clerk's office in Room 113 of the Saline County Courthouse. The county page confirms image and data access but did not expose exact online search fields in the research capture.
Voter lists are also regulated directories. Arkansas law allows county clerks to reproduce registered voter lists in formats the office can provide, but secure-voter addresses are excluded unless otherwise authorized. The access-law detail belongs with Benton public records; the directory point is simpler. The voter list is a statutory name, address, and precinct directory with privacy limits.
- Index
- A searchable listing that points to a record, often without every document image or detail.
- Parcel
- A mapped unit of land used by the assessor, tax collector, and GIS system.
- Grantor / grantee
- The parties in a deed transfer, usually the person giving and receiving an interest.
- Secure voter
- A protected voter status that keeps qualifying address information out of public reproduction.
Benton Business License Directories
Business and professional lookups add nonresidential people directories for Benton. The Arkansas Secretary of State Business Entity Search covers corporations and other filings, and it requires at least one search term. Results can connect an entity name with registered agents, officers or incorporators where filed, addresses, and filing status.
The manifest's successful capture of the Arkansas SOS business entity search shows a statewide business directory that Benton users can use for company names, agents, and filing clues.
The image belongs here because business filings are one of the official directory substitutes for finding a person tied to a Benton entity.
For professional rosters, the Arkansas.gov License Search and Verification page routes users to board-level verification. The Medical Board can search by license number or last name, and nursing verification runs through the ASBN Nurse Portal. Locally, the Benton Area Chamber member directory lists businesses by category and can show address, phone, website, hours, directions, and about text.
Benton Library Directory Collections
Historical people directories in Benton depend heavily on the Saline County Library system. The library's genealogy resources include the Saline Courier Collection, Saline County Obituary Index, NARA 1950 Census, Find A Grave Arkansas, and Early American Sources through Arkansas Archives. The Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton and Gann Museum of Saline County are local access points named in the research.
| Library directory collection | Years or coverage found | Directory value |
|---|---|---|
| Saline County Obituary Index | 1930-present | Names, relatives, death notices, and local newspaper clues |
| Benton, Arkansas Polk City Directory | Exact volume years not shown in RSS result | Resident and address directory holdings |
| Cole's Kriss Kross Directory including Benton | Exact volume years not shown | Reverse-style name and address research |
| Benton-Bauxite-Lonsdale telephone directories | Exact volume years not shown | Local phone directory evidence |
| Bryant-area telephone directory including Benton | Exact volume years not shown | Broader Saline County phone listings |
The Saline County Library genealogy page states that the Saline Courier Collection includes current and archived issues, full-text articles, and online-only content. The Arkansas State Archives Saline County finding aids add vertical files, genealogy records, and cemetery material. Exact library directory years were not visible, so those titles should not be treated as full date runs.
Historical Benton Directory Timeline
Benton's historical directory record is useful because Saline County's record history appears relatively strong. The county was established in 1835, Benton is the county seat, and Arkansas heritage sources describe the current courthouse as the third county courthouse, built in 1901-1902. Research did not locate a major courthouse record-loss event.
| 1835 | Saline County established, with Benton as the county seat. |
|---|---|
| 1836-1895 | FamilySearch catalog identifies Saline County court records microfilmed from courthouse records at Benton. |
| 1842-1951 | FamilySearch catalog identifies Saline County probate records from the courthouse at Benton. |
| 1901-1902 | Current Saline County Courthouse built, according to Arkansas heritage material. |
| 1930-present | Saline County Obituary Index covers Saline Courier obituaries. |
Use the timeline to choose the right historical directory. A probate file can connect heirs and family names. A court record can place a person in a case. A city or phone directory can tie a name to a street. An obituary can bridge a married name, cemetery, family group, and former residence.
Note: Exact years for several library directory volumes, Laserfiche folder fields, and ARCountyData form fields were not visible in the research capture.
